About us
Platform to promote Portuguese hi-fi products and services
HI-FIVE Audio is a non-profit platform that aims to promote Portuguese manufacturers of home hi-fi equipment, as well as other participants who contribute to the quality of a Sound System par excellence.
We believe that our proposals can lead to the creation of a unique hi-fi system, based on a fair price/quality ratio, thus allowing our followers/users to fully enjoy their music collection.
In our opinion, the quality of a sound system depends on several factors, including the electrical system, the acoustics of the room, the positioning of the speakers and, above all, the quality of the equipment and the interaction between them. To this end, we intend to present proposals for products and services that cover all these areas.

A music lover and audiophile, he has three pieces of equipment from Portuguese manufacturers as a fundamental part of his sound system: a Rui Borges turntable acquired in 2017; in June 2020 he had the opportunity to take part in the development tests for ZDL cables, an experience that led him to replace all the cables he had previously used; since December 2022, an Innuos server/streamer.
Over the years you have come to know several products developed by Portuguese manufacturers of equally exceptional quality, but their low profile on the national and international market (with a few exceptions) has led me, together with some friends, to create this website to promote them.
